Terms & Conditions

Business Name: React Well First Aid Training

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings, purchases and participation in training courses provided by React Well ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a course or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General
  •  Our training courses are delivered in accordance with recognised HSE standards.

  • All delegates must follow the trainer's instructions for their safety and the safety of others.

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove a delegate for behaviour that is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate without refund.

 

2. Bookings & payments

  • Individuals: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place on the course.

  •  Businesses, Groups and organisations: Payment is due within 28 days from date of invoice, but no later than 7 days prior to the course start date.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received in accordance with these terms.

  • We accept payment by (credit, debit card, Apple Pay, google pay and via bank transfer for businesses with payment details on the invoice).

3. Cancellations & refunds

 

  •  Individuals: 

  •  7 or more days before the course - Full refund or transfer to another course date at no additional cost.

  •  4-6 days before the course - 50% refund or one free transfer to another course date.

  •  72 hours or less before the course start date, or non-attendance (no show) - No refund. A transfer to another course date may be offered at the company's discretion, subject to a 25% rescheduling fee.

  •  Businesses, Groups and Organisations:

  •  More than 14 days before the course - Full refund or reschedule to another date at no additional cost.

  •  7-13 days before the course - 50% refund or reschedule to a later date with a 25% rescheduling fee.

  •  Less than 7 days before the course - The full course fee is payable. Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion, subject to a 25% rescheduling fee. 

  • Substitute delegates - A substitute delegate may attend in place of the original booking, provided notice is given no later than 24 hours before the course start date, at no additional cost.

4. Accessibility

 

  • Our primary training venue is accessed via stairs and may not be suitable for all delegates with mobility impairment.

  •   Many course activities require the ability to perform practical tasks at ground level.

  •  We will make reasonable adjustments where possible to accommodate delegates with additional needs, provided these do not compromise course safety, learning outcomes or assessment standards.

  •  Delegates are encouraged to inform us of any accessibility requirements at the time of booking.

5. Liability & Insurance

  •  We exercise all reasonable care and skill in delivering training services.

  •  We hold valid public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance covering the provision of training services. Evidence of cover can be provided upon request.

  •  We accept no liability for loss, injury or damage suffered during training except where caused by proven negligence or breach of duty on our part.

  •  Delegates are responsible for ensuring their own health and personal property are protected during training.

6. Certification

  • Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course, all assessments are done via practicals.

  •  Replacement certificates may be issued upon request and may incur an administration fee.

7. Privacy

  •  We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

  •  Personal data will be collected and processed for purposes including course administration, certification and compliance with legal requirements.

8. Complaints

  •  Complaints should be submitted via email to helen.charlesworth@reactwell.co.uk , including your name, contact details and details of the course attended.

  • We will acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and aim to provide a full response within 10 working days.

9. Code of Conduct

  • .Delegates are expected to:

  •  - Arrive on time and participate fully in training activities.

  •  - Treat the trainer and fellow learners with courtesy and respect.

  •  - Avoid disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

  • - Not attend under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  •  We reserve the right to remove any delegate who breaches this code without refund.

10. Use of Course Materials

  • All training materials, presentations, and course content used in our courses are provided under licence from SkillBase First Aid. Certificates of completion and associated quality control processes are managed and issued directly by SkillBase First Aid.

  •  - While React Well First Aid Training delivers the training in accordance with SkillBase First Aid's standards and requirements, the ownership of all training materials remains with SkillBase First Aid and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without their permission.

11. Changes to Terms

  •  We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply from the date of publication on our website.
