ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This statement was last updated on 05/07/2025.

We at React Well are committed to ensuring that our course are accessible to as many people as possible. We are happy to make reasonable adjustments where we can to support your participation.

However, we want to be transparent about physical requirements and venue limitations, particularly for courses like first aid at work.

For  first aid training courses, certain physical competencies are required as set by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

Physical Requirements for Certification

To meet the HSE standards and receive certification, all delegates must be physically capable of:

  • Performing CPR on a manikin on the floor

  • Placing a casualty into the recovery position

  • Participating in other practical assessments

If you are unsure whether you can meet these requirements, please contact us before booking. We will be happy to discuss reasonable adjustments or alternative training options where possible.

Venue Access

Please note:

Our primary training venue is accessed via stairs and does not currently have lift access. This may pose a challenge for delegates with limited mobility or wheelchair uses.

We encourage delegates to contact us before booking if they have any concerns about access, details below.

Where possible we aim to:

  • Recommend a future course held in an accessible venue (e.g. come to you)

  • Explore suitable alternative arrangements or locations

Support and Adjustments

We will make reasonable adjustments where feasible, such as:

  • Extra time for assessments

  • Quiet areas or support for anxiety/processing needs

However, adjustments must not compromise course standards or assessment outcomes.
