Mini Heroes is a fun and engaging first aid programme designed for children aged 4–11.
Created by SkillBase First Aid, the programme introduces children to important life-saving skills in a way that is practical, interactive and age-appropriate.
At React Well First Aid Training, we deliver Mini Heroes sessions to schools, nurseries and community groups across Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark and the surrounding areas.
The sessions help children learn how to recognise emergencies, stay calm and understand when and how to get help.
However many schools find it difficult to deliver practical first aid learning confidently.
Mini Heroes provides a structured and engaging way for children to explore important safety skills in a supportive environment.
Children learn:
• how to recognise when someone needs help
• when to call 999 in an emergency
• basic safety awareness
• how to stay calm and get help from an adult
These skills help build confidence and encourage children to look out for others.
Our Workshops
We offer Mini Heroes sessions tailored to different age groups:

• Key Stage 2 (ages 7–11)

What Children Will Learn

As a licensed provider, we deliver the Mini Heroes programme developed by SkillBase First Aid.
Delivered by a qualified and experienced first aid instructor.
Sessions can be delivered on site at your school or venue.
