Foundation First Aid is a practical, confidence-building course designed for groups who need an overview of first aid but may not require a full one-day qualification.

Delivered in a supportive, hands-on format, this course covers the essential skills needed to respond safely and effectively to common first aid situations.

​

It is ideal for low-risk workplaces, community groups, schools, and organisations wanting to increase confidence and awareness without committing to a full-day course.

What's Covered

  • Assessing an emergency situation safely

  • Recognising an unresponsive casualty

  • Child, baby & adult CPR

  • Managing choking in adults, children and babies

  • Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)

  • Unconsciousness & recovery position

  • Bleeding and burns

Duration: 4 hours

​This course provides practical first aid awareness and confidence but is not a regulated workplace first aid qualification.
